Eric Walker

Eric Walker- Drummer/ Vocalist

Providing the driving percussion for Moonshine Abby, Eric Walker is a musical gumbo starting with a base of 70’s/80’s pop radio, sprinkled with hard rock, prog rock, jazz fusion and of course METAL! After stewing with that for awhile began mixing in some reggae, ska, electronic and hip hop, then letting that simmer for about 30 years. Self taught, Eric’s left handed approach to the drums consistently sparks the creative fires of music across dimensions.

Joe O'Brien (Mojo)

"Mojo" O'Brien Lead Guitarist/Vocalist

It's been a long and winding road for Joe "Mojo" O'Brien. Joe has been everywhere with his six-string at his side, his weapon of choice! Since the age of 14, Joe knew that music was his calling and purpose in life. Drive and Focus has put Joe into many great positions musically, and it is still very early in this talented musician’s career, he is bound to get where he wants to be in life and in music.

Mojo’s Father, the late Brett O'Brien, bought Joe his first guitar at the ripe age of 14, since then it has transpired into a pure obsession of music. Joe’s influences range from Rush and Led Zeppelin, to Mozart and Bach, from Coltrane and Miles Davis, to Metallica and Dream Theater. Joe’s influences were, and still to this day remain without judgement and without constraints. Just know this about Mojo, he truly loves music. "My favorite music would have to be hard rock and Heavy Metal." says Mojo.

Joe was an active member in his high school Marching Band, Concert Band and Jazz Band. Following high school, Joe formed local cover bands and was a critical member of original bands. From there Mojo continued to be a prominent figure in the local Tampa/ St. Pete and Clearwater music scene. Mojo enrolled into the Music Theory and Composition Program at Hillsborough Community college where he began writing his own original material. Joe “Mojo” O’Brien is now the sole guitarist in MoonShine Abby, and happy to have a profound role in this band that will be performing for a long time to come.
